John has over 25 years of general management experience in a broad range of business sectors and sizes. He is a high energy executive with a global outlook and the proven ability to translate vision into organizational action.
John is President of the Kemerer Group. He brings a wide ranging network and a pragmatic and outcomes-oriented focus to his consulting work. He excels in translating complex, sophisticated business strategy into simple, measurable, accountable, and concrete actions.
He has worked extensively in healthcare, successfully delivering the Accountability Framework® System for strategy implementation, coaching senior executives and implementing talent management strategies with successful hospitals such as Toronto East General, The Ottawa Hospital and St. Joseph's Healthcare in London. He is equally at ease in the Boardroom or with front line staff.
John, a native of Toronto and a commercial pilot, is very active in the community, being a member of the Toronto Board of Trade, the Rotary Club of Toronto and the Canadian Association of Management Consultants. He sits on the Boards of Directors of several publicly traded enterprises.

Rick holds BA and MA degrees in psychology and MA and Ph.D. degrees in Adult Education. The foundation of the work for KGI is based upon the research for his dissertation.
