Originally established in 1981 as a management consulting firm under the name Richard Kemerer & Associates, the work of the firm was based on elements of Dr. Richard Kemerer's doctoral dissertation in adult learning. In these early years, the business was primarily focused on the banking and financial industries but soon began to branch out into new markets.

Today the business is incorporated as Kemerer Group Inc.

Over the years we have continued to build on the the work of Dr. Kemerer and develop the set of tools and techniques known and trademarked as the  Accountability Framework^® System.  To ensure we continue to meet the ever changing needs of our clients, KGI's dedicated group of academics and consultants continue to refresh and develop these tools and techniques that make our process so unique, scalable and effective.

Next year, the business will be 30 years old and we are so excited to be celebrating it's success. And while our history is interesting, our future looks very exciting!
