KGI is pleased to announce the merger of its operations with Optimus Consulting Group and joint purchase of the assets of SBR Global.
KGI is no stranger to either organization. It has been working with the Optimus Consulting Group for the past several years under a licensing agreement for KGI's proprietary Accountability Framework® System. The partnership has been one of mutual reward based on highly aligned consulting philosophies and the complementary strengths of the two organizations, including their engagement methodologies and client bases.
When the opportunity arose to purchase the assets of SBR Global, the two organizations seized the occasion. KGI's President, John D. Whincup, and both of the owners of Optimus Consulting Group, Kevin Gauci and Joe Oppedisano, are all alumni of SBR Global and hence, the three owners made the quick decision to pursue the opportunity on a joint basis.
The new, larger organization will combine the strengths of all three businesses. The companies fit well together and ultimately provide a consolidated offering that includes strategy and leadership development, implementation planning and the project management and consulting skill set required to deliver results.
The new organization will be known as OPTIMUS|SBR, though during transition, KGI will continue to operate and serve its clients under the KGI banner in recognition of the brand equity and confidence the organization has developed within the public sector.
